Bridging program

‘Urban Transformation’ builds upon the 240 CP bachelor’s program at Dortmund School of Planning. Prospective students from other institutions may therefore bridge their transition into the program by taking extra courses. This condition helps support students’ basic understanding of German and international planning system.

Though not obligatory we also recommend international students to take a German language course at TU Dortmund University.

Who can apply?

Urban Transformation has a restricted number of places, meant for students with a vivid interest in the field of planning, governance studies and urban economics. The expected enrolment to the program will be a mix of students with a four years bachelor degree from Dortmund School of Planning, who wish to gain a more international perspective, and international students, who wish to specialize in the field of planning, governance and economic transformation.

Course offerings

We encourage all of our international students to take part in German-language courses at TU Dortmund University. They are available for all registered students.
